STORYTIME SCIENCE WORKSHOP AT FIRST STEPS GYM starts December 4th, 2006, Monday at 4:00pm

Exciting news... First Steps Gym in Mt. Laurel will be holding two workshop sessions this winter from Dec. 4th, 2006 to February 19th, 2007. Each workshop runs 5 weeks. The Monday sessions (4-5pm)are for 5-7 year olds while the Thursday sessions (1-2pm) are open to 3-5 year olds. We've got great stories and cool experiments and science activities planned. Take a look at the first session schedule:

Week 1 We will read Dinosaur Bones by Bob Barner and dig for T-Rex teeth. Best of all, you get to keep the dino tooth for yourself!

Week 2 After reading Rainbow Fish, we will make cool solar bead bracelets.

Week 3 Since it's winter, we will make our own awesome instant snow after reading Axle Annie.

Week 4 We'll read Purple Green and Yellow and learn about chemistry using Sharpie markers. Bring your own white t-shirt to design.

Week 5 Reduce, reuse, recycle. We will go on a journey with the Wartville Wizard and find some eco-solutions to save the Earth!

And that's just the first session -- we've got more fun science activities lined up for the second session so sign up for session 1 NOW. Please remember to check out the First Steps Gym Open House on November 29th.
